The drive type matters more than the brand

An opener is a system: motor, rail, trolley carriage and drive mechanism. You can buy the right brand and still end up with a noisy, straining unit if the drive does not suit the structure it is bolted into.

Belt drives run a rubber belt and are noticeably quieter, which is what you want under a bedroom or a home office. Chain drives are the common choice, reliable and long lived, but they put more vibration through the ceiling. Screw drives have fewer moving parts and suit certain clearance configurations. A jackshaft mounts on the wall and turns the torsion shaft directly, which is the answer for low ceilings, high-lift tracks or anything already occupying the space overhead.

Belt drive

A rubber belt moves the trolley. The quiet option, and the one to pick when there is living space directly above the garage.

Chain drive

A metal chain drives the trolley along the rail. The most common type, long lived, and the loudest of the rail systems.

Screw drive

A threaded steel rod, fewer moving parts, available for specific clearance configurations.

Jackshaft operator

Wall mounted on the torsion shaft rather than a ceiling rail. The answer for low ceilings, high-lift tracks and overhead obstructions, and it frees the ceiling entirely.

A new opener will not fix a door that is out of balance. It will just fail earlier than the last one did, because it spends every cycle making up for a spring that is not carrying its share.

So the door gets weighed and the balance checked with the opener disconnected before anything is mounted. If the springs are wrong for the door, that gets said before the opener goes up, not after. That work sits under garage door repair in Windermere.
